His theories, particularly the concept of “The Death of the Author,” reshaped literary criticism and theory. This paper explores Barthes' life in Udru language, focusing on the complexities of his personal life, his theoretical evolution, and his intellectual conflicts. Barthes' work transcended literary criticism, delving into semiotics, cultural myths, and the role of the reader. By examining his personal struggles, his disinterest in conventional relationships(Being Guy), his occasional rivalries with other intellectuals, and his unique contributions to both French and global intellectual circles, this paper provides a comprehensive insight into his biography, his transition from structuralism to post-structuralism.
