Term Pakistani literature refers to a literature that is compatible with Pakistan's traditions, values, national sentiments and its background. From this term, the movement of Pakistani literature was originated, which was also well represented by Urdu novelists. Shaukat Siddiqui(1923-2006) is an important reference in the literary perspective after the establishment of Pakistan. His novel Khudaki Basti(1958) not only brings out the important intellectual aspects of Pakistanism, but through it, he laments the people who are being exploited in every field of life. So, this novel is not only the expression of its time and era but also a representative of Pakistanism. In this research paper, an attempt has been made to bring out the political and social problems and ideological references of Pakistan in the context of the novel Khudaki Basti, which were faced by the masses immediately after the creation of Pakistan.
