Abstract
Sir Syed Ahmed khan was a personality in the sub- continent who not only inspired people but nations through his imperative thinking pattern and working style. His nature and thoughts have been a matter of debate since long, but nobody could deny his tireless efforts for the Muslims of South East Asia. His impact on literary milieu of his times could also be noticed through his compatriots such as Shibli, Hali Nazeer Ahmed and Azad. Sir Syed has also put the impact of his movement on Juvenile literature of Urdu. This article narrates that how Sir Syed has changed the pattern of the literary prose of his times while focusing on the message and asked others to follow which eventually helped Urdu writers to create literature for children as well. The researcher has also traced down the efforts of Sir Syed`s contemporaries in juvenile literature, but suggested that this was Sir Syed`s intellect who supported them to do so.
