Abdul Qadir Sarwari is famous for Deccan school of literature. Abdul Qadir Sarwari, Saleem Panipati's disciple, Mohi -ud -Din Qadri Zor's colleague and Maulvi Abdul Haq Sahib's subordinate. He served for the Osmania University, Hyderabad. Besides, Mysore University and Kashmir also remained the chairman of Urdu department. Abdul Qadir Sarwari was basically a researcher. There are his writings regarding both prose and poems. Among them are, the evolution of Urdu poem (Urdu Mathnavi Ka Irtaqa), modern Urdu poetry (Jadeed Urdu Shayery), world of fiction (Dunya-e- Afsana) and character of fiction (Kirdar aur Afasana), especially notable. The literary history of Urdu (Urdu ki Adabi Tareekh) is his famous book. In which he has analyzed literature with many dimensions. Apart from his writings, he compiled many books. There are compilations of the words (Kulliyat) of Siraj, Sanaسti, Ibn Nashati, Ghalib and Zafar.Abdul Qadir Sarwari has also worked on linguistics, and wrote a very first book about linguistics ‘Language and Knowledge of Language’ (Zaban aur Ilm-e-zaban). Especially for students’ knowledge. In addition, many books are also written as an educationist. His books are also part of the curriculum. Abdul Qadir Sarwari has the multi dimension personality. Unfortunately, there is no significant work of research quality in Urdu literature about him. So this article is a small confession of their services.
