Abstract
In our society, women are kept one step behind in every field of life. The exploitation of women is not a matter of age but a centuries-old ritual that is performed as a duty. When they wrote history, literary historians either ignored women writers or mentioned them very briefly. In this way, even the critic did not consider women's creations worthy to take a look at their mysteries. I have written this article inspired by Fatima Hasan's idea that it is now time for women to research women writers themselves.
The main reason for limiting my article to Karachi was that the topic should be written concisely and the second important reason was to bring forward women writers of Karachi, especially poets, and to see that there are some big names of literature in Karachi at that time. To what extent and in what manner are allegorical elements present in his speech? Thus, Karachi is a very fertile city in terms of women poets, but keeping in mind the brevity, I have selected only a few women poets. Especially those poets who are skilled in writing poetry and whose name is a poem.
