Siddhartha(1922), well-known work by German author Hermann Hesse,(1877-1962) is a story about one man’s search for self –realization. In this novel The Siddhartha searches for truth and enlightenment, difference between knowledge and understanding, the nature of truth, and the unity of all things. Siddhartha first begins his journey by following those who are also seeking Enlightenment.
