Metaphysics is the universal fact which is deep-rooted in human civilization. As the literature reflects the society, literature and metaphysics co-incide in certain situations. In Urdu literature, such tales, which have are being narrated for centuries, are replete with metaphysical elements. This article analyses the metaphysical elements in Urdu tale "Rani Ketki", written by Insha Allah Khan Insha.
