Abstract
Pandit Badri Nath Sadarshan was a short story writer of Urdu who depicted the social problems faced by the middle-class Hindus living in the villages as well as urban areas in India.
Though Sadarshan was inspired by Premchand, his art is different from Premchand's. Both represent realism but Sadarshan is comparatively modern and Romantic. This paper evaluates Sadarshan's short stories and their themes
