The tradition of Sufism and mystic poetry has a long history in Sindhi and Punjabi literatures. Aside from some well known Sufis, some of the prominent poets of Punjabi and Sindhi have elaborated upon the idea of love and peace in their poetry. Shah Hussain, a poet of Punjabi and Shah Abdul Latif, a poet of Sindhi, as well as some other poets of these languages have also presented the idea of love and peace through their poetry. This article cites examples of such verses that have composed upon the idea of peace and love.
