Feminism is a comparatively modern literary term. Sometimes there remains some sort of deficiency or misunderstanding somewhere in its comprehension. Being a new topic in Urdu particularly, it is suffering with the problems of vague and complications. In this article, it has been tried to understand its background and evolution in a brief way. It has also been tried to convey its comprehension by quoting examples from international literature and history. It has also been tried in the article to know what are the barriers and difficulties in the way of understanding feminism.
