Abstract
Abdul Haleem Sharar was a fiction writer, journalist and poet. He is known for his historical novels, too. Some of his historical novels depict some very active and dynamic female characters. The article evaluates and analyses the traits of those female characters. It emphasises certain traits in women as reflected by Sharar in his historical novels.
