In addition to Iqbal’s letters written in prose and published in several volumes, he had written some letters in verse, too. This article traces and analyses such poems included in Iqbal’s collections of poetry. The article studies the sentiments expressed in these poems, addressed as letters to different persons and bodies, and also gives their historical, social and political background.
